Fine local produce
Based at the Rural Complex just outside Fort William, Lochaber Farm Shop stocks a wide range of local produce including the following producers-

- Farmstead Fayre- Home baking
- Ardnamushrooms -Shiitake mushrooms and grow your own kits.
- Ard Darrich Preserves- Jams and Chutneys
- Crannog Seafood - Smoked salmon and salmon goods
- Tigh Fuine Bakery- Organic bread
- Glenfinnan organics- Seasonal vegetables
- Moidart Smokehouse- Smoked cream cheese
We also stock a very good range of wholefoods, flour, free range eggs, cheese, honey, preserves, snacks and special dietery goods such as Gluten Free and Dairy Free produce. We also have environmentally friendly cleaning products with a refill scheme and child/skin friendly body care products and biodegradable nappies!
Specialties
Our speciality is of course our own locally reared meat, tender lamb ,delicious free range pork, and our much sought after mutton. We also have free to roam chickens, outdoor reared bacon and gammon steaks and wild venison. We offer speciality venison goods including smoked venison, venison chorizo, venison pepperoni and salami.
Vegetables
We sell a selection of vegetables sourced as locally as possible. We are always looking for new local suppliers no matter how small an amount. If you are a gardener/ grower and you have surplus, come and see us and we will sell on your local produce!
Fair Trade
We sell Fair Trade goods in the Farm Shop such as Tea, Coffee, Biscuits and Chocolate. We do this in order to help small farmers like ourselves in other parts of the world.
Local Farming Local Food for Local People (and Visitors very Welcome Too!)
We currently re-use carrier bags donated by customers but are very much for a plastic bag free shop. Please bring your own bag for your shopping so in time we can achieve that status!Getting into the habit of bringing along your bags does take time but it will become second nature. We sell our lovely re-usable Lochaber Farm Shop Bags made by a mill in Lancashire so also Fair Trade and not shipped half way round the world!
